Residents may qualify for assistance with emergency repairs, including electric meter base equipment, roof damage, etc. Garland’s Emergency Storm Home Repair Assistance is coordinated through the Community Development Department. Follow these steps to request assistance.

2. Complete and submit the application, including required documents. Eligibility criteria:
- Must own the property
- Demonstrate financial need
- Provide identification documents
3. If you’re unable to complete the application online, visit the Ronald E. Jones Municipal Building, 800 Main St.
